WoW Enchanting Walkthrough

If you want to strive in any profession I recommend the Ultimate WoW Guide
Enchanting is a very popular profession in World of Warcraft, but it is also one of the hardest to learn. However, it is certainly time well spent, for you will be able to use these abilities regularly. Enchanters have the ability not only to enchant items, by adding attributes to them, but you also can disenchant items. This comes in handy multiple times in the game.
While enchanting isn’t for everyone, if you have a lot of patience and you think that this profession would be of use to you, it’s worthwhile to give it a try. Learning the profession of enchanting might not be that hard if you have the right strategy. In fact, we’re going to make it really easy for you.
Getting Started
If you decide that you’re going to learn the profession of enchanting then you must visit an enchanting trainer. In larger cities it will be very easy to find these trainers. You will need a secondary profession once you have done this. Your options are pretty open, but most people choose tailoring. You won’t need to choose a secondary profession, such as mining, due to the fact that this profession requires no gathering.
You will now require a recipe for enchanting an item as well as the item itself. Remember that disenchanting an item will destroy it. Use this carefully due to the fact that there is no way to take back your disenchantment.

Enchanting
Let’s begin the process of enchanting. We will be working on an Enchant Bracer which is worn on the wrist. You’re going to need strange dust and lesser magic essence for this recipe. If you do not already have these items in your possession, you will need to buy them from the auction house or from a vendor.
Once you have these items, you can open up your spell book and go to the enchanting window. Just follow the instructions and you’ll have your first enchanted item. Now, this is an item that is for level 1, so you’ll need to keep going to get up past 300.
Disenchanting
You may need to collect the special dusts and powders that you need, which you can get by disenchanting an item. Open your spell book and select disenchant. Now move your mouse over to the item that you want to disenchant. It may take a few minutes to complete the process. Keep in mind that you cannot take back the disenchantment.
Disenchanting items is the cheapest and easiest way to get dust and other items required for enchanting recipes. Here’s a quick guide to help you get what you need:
Dust – Green Armor
Essence – Green Weapons
Shard – Blue Items
Nexus Crystal – Purple Items (up to 60)
Void Crystals – Purple Items (after level 60)
What to Do With Your Skill
Now that you’re enchanting items, you’re going to need to do something with them. A lot of players like to trade enchanted items and this is the main reason that enchanting is considered one of the more social skills. You can also sell your items to other players or auction them off in the auction house.
